Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position based in Glasgow for a Robotics Engineer. The Robotics Engineer will design, develop, and integrate robotic systems for industrial applications, focusing on automation tasks. Responsibilities include programming and testing robotic systems, analyzing processes to identify automation opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance. The position also involves troubleshooting, working closely with clients to meet project requirements, and staying updated on emerging trends in robotics and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelors / Masters in Mechatronics, Automation or Mechanical Engineering
• Must have experience in programming six axis collaborative/industrial robots in manufacturing or production environments. You must be able to work with robots and automation equipment in a manufacturing setting
• Must have experience of working with vision system and machine vision technologies
• Must have experience of 3D Modelling using Solidworks/CAD/AutoDesk Technologies
• Must have experience of wiring, terminations and pneumatic connections
• Must have a valid UK Driving License - use of a company van is provided for site visits
• Desirable - Experience of PLC programming - Siemens/Omron/Allen Bradley
