Exceed Robotics is seeking a Coding & Robotics Instructor to teach programming, robotics, and 3D design to Grade 8–10 students. This is a permanent, in-person position that combines classroom teaching with on-site administrative and curriculum development responsibilities.
Schedule & Location
Tuesday – On-Site Administrative & Development Day (no teaching)
- 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Location: Partner high school near Victoria Park & Hwy 401
- Responsibilities include lesson planning, grading, assessments, and curriculum development
Wednesday to Friday – Teaching Days
- 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Location: Partner high school near Victoria Park & Hwy 401
Sunday – Teaching Day
- 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Location: Exceed Robotics campus
A 1-hour unpaid lunch break is included each working day.
Total paid hours: approximately 28–30 hours per week, with additional hours available upon request

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging coding and robotics instruction covering Programming, Robotics Fundamentals, Electronics and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) & 3D printing
- Teach using Exceed Robotics’ curriculum and provided course slides
- Create and administer quizzes, tests, and assignments
- Complete student evaluations and report cards
- Review student work and provide constructive feedback
- Develop and update course slides and instructional materials
- Maintain a positive, structured, and well-managed classroom environment
- Perform on-site administrative and curriculum development tasks at the partner school
Qualifications
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students
- Teaching experience and classroom management skills (required)
- Availability to work year-round
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, C/C++, Java, HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
- OCT (Ontario College of Teachers) certification is considered an asset
Preferred Qualifications (Assets)
- Experience with drag & drop coding platform
- Experience with Arduino microcontrollers
- Experience with CAD or 3D design tools such as TinkerCAD, Onshape, Fusion360
- Experience with 3D printers
- Background in STEM education, robotics, or computer science
