About the job:
We are seeking qualified individuals for a Sales & Business Development Manager in charge of the Central part of the US, however, this position will be based from our San Jose, California office (onsite).
Description:
· Identify and reach out to potential customers and system integrator who can benefit from deploying Robots with Force Control & AI solutions
· Present the benefits of using Force Control Robots and our AI technology either on the customer's site or remotely (web conferencing)
· Travel to visit customers' facilities within the territory to understand their application and propose the ideal solutions
· Work directly with the internal application engineering team or collaborate with outside system integrator for customers requiring a full turnkey solution
· Working directly with the internal application engineering team, business office, customer service, and other resources to support customers before and after-sales
· Supervise the entire sales process from proposal, quote, PO, transport, installation, and training with support from the responsible team at Flexiv
· Follow up and frequently communicate with customers to ensure the customers are satisfied with Flexiv robots and win repeat orders
· Manning the booth during trade shows
Requirements:
· Minimum Bachelor Degree, preferably but NOT limited to Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotic Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Computer Science
· 2+ years of automation and/or robotics sales experience preferred
· 2+ years of technical sales experience directly to end-user/integrator preferred, but we also welcome applications engineers who want to move into sales positions
· Experience with the customer from automotive, electronics, healthcare, general industry, and healthcare industries preferred
· Comfortable with prospecting process using ZoomInfo, Cold Calling, and Cold Emailing.
· Willingness to travel (by air or by car/van) whenever there is an opportunity in the territory, get hands dirty, manage projects and help during real deployments
· Willingness to sometimes works outside regular working hours to communicate with engineering and business support teams in Asia
· West coast position preferably live near the Bay area
