About the job:
We are seeking qualified individuals for a Robotic Application Engineer based in Santa Jose, California, mainly responsible for Technical Sales Support (TSS), Robotic Application/Solution Development, and Project Management.
Job Description:
Full Time & ONSITE position in San Jose, California
Work directly with the division management, sales, end users, and system integrators to provide expert support and demonstrate Flexiv robot’s capabilities. This may be in the form of technical presentation, application feasibility analyses, programming support, training, and trade show activities.
Propose concept and solution adapted to our robot range with different technologies (vision, linear stage, conveyor tracking, PLC, API, safety, etc.)
Management of project from proposal creation up to the deployment of turnkey automation solutions.
Provide training to our customers and channel partners.
Report daily to the Robotic Application Engineering Manager
Communicate frequently with customers to ensure quality service is being applied.
Implement, develop, test, debug, and maintain robotic hardware and software.
Requirements
BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, and Robotic Engineering.
Minimum: Bachelor Degree (please do not apply if you have not graduated yet, we need to hire asap)
2+ years automation, robotics, plus project management experience preferred.
Willingness to get hands dirty and do real deployments.
Willingness to travel at a moment's notice.
Salary Range: $85k to $95k
