We are seeking a detail-oriented entry level Lab Technician to be responsible for specimen handling, supply ordering, DNA and PBMCs extractions, and cell culture and reprogramming for our clinical laboratory. This role ensures seamless testing processes while maintaining the highest standards of specimen integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cell culture procedures, including media preparation, feeding, passaging, and cell reprogramming (e.g., PBMCs to iPSCs), while maintaining strict aseptic technique
- Monitor cell health, viability, and growth, ensuring consistency and reproducibility of stem cell workflows
- Perform DNA and PBMC extraction from clinical specimens to support downstream applications
- Ensure sample traceability: receive, log, and accession clinical samples according to laboratory protocols
- Verify specimen integrity, labeling, and accompanying documentation
- Coordinate proper storage and tracking of samples throughout the testing workflow
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Life Sciences
required
- Previous laboratory experience in Industry for
at least 1 year
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques such as cell culture, molecular biology, and biochemical assays
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a
fast-paced research environment
