At Evotec’s site in Göttingen, Germany, the Bioinformatics department is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated
Research Scientist Bioinformatics (all genders)
Full time and permanent
Responsibilities:
- Process and analyze omics (primarily, Proteomics and Transcriptomics) data
- Lead the development of workflows and apps for automated summarization and interactive exploration of screening omics and structural data in the context of Lead Optimization
- Optimize data processing and analysis capabilities by improving existing and developing new workflows
- Support interdisciplinary project teams in various research areas with bioinformatics expertise
- Collaborate efficiently with other scientists within the company and with external partners
Qualifications:
- PhD in Bioinformatics, Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Computer Science, Computational Biology, or a related discipline with several years of relevant professional experience
- Deep understanding of Bioinformatics methods and tools within the context of compound screens and omics data analysis
- Strong programming skills in at least one programming language
