About the Role

Job Title: Research Engineering Lead

Overview:
We’re looking for a hands-on research and engineering leader to optimize commercial and open-source frontier models, powering the future of AI software engineering. You will own experiments from dataset design to model alignment and performance optimization.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Create powerful ensembles of LLMs into lovable products.
• Identify and update key metrics to optimize from a product perspective.
• Collaborate with engineering leaders to build a world-class team.
• Design, run, and analyze experiments based on real-world coding and product use cases.
• Develop and maintain training pipelines, distillation workflows, and synthetic data generation systems.
• Work closely with infrastructure and product engineers to scale training efforts and deliver results.
