TL;DR We’re looking for a hands-on research and engineering leader to get the best performance out of commercial and open source frontier models, in order to power the future of AI software engineering. You’ll own experiments end-to-end—from dataset design to model alignment and performance optimization. Must be curious, experimental, and obsessed with squeezing the most out of models.

Your day to day In one sentence: Create the most powerful ensemble of LLMs into lovable products.

You will:

• Identify and update the most important metrics to optimize from a product perspective
• Collaborate with fellow engineering leaders to build a world-class team of brilliant, ambitious people
• Design, run and analyze experiments grounded in real-world coding and product use cases
• Develop and maintain training pipelines, distillation workflows, and synthetic data generating systems
• Work closely with infra and product engineers to scale training efforts and ship results
