Research Associate Bioinformatics (all genders)
Full time and permanent
Responsibilities:
- Process and analyze omics screening data
- Participate in development of workflows and apps for automated summarization and interactive exploration of large-scale screening data
- Participate in improving data processing and analysis capabilities by optimizing existing and developing new workflows
- Support interdisciplinary project teams in various research areas with bioinformatics expertise
- Collaborate efficiently with other scientists within the company
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree with several years of relevant professional experience or PhD in Bioinformatics, Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Computer Science, Computational Biology, or a related discipline
- Deep understanding of Bioinformatics methods and tools within the context of compound screens and omics data analysis
- Strong programming skills in at least one programming language
- Experience in software implementation of bioinformatics methods and pipelines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work both in team and independently in a fast-paced work environment
