Position Summary

We seek a detail-oriented Service Technician to join our Austin, Texas team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience repairing PC equipment or similar devices and is comfortable managing various repair and maintenance tasks as well as shipping and receiving tasks. This role involves organizing and triaging equipment, performing repairs, and maintaining meticulous records to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.

Qualifications Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Repair: Diagnose, repair, and replace components for Rosie robot vacuums and associated equipment.
• Organizing & Triaging: Manage incoming repair requests, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely resolution.
• Shipping & Receiving: Handle the intake and dispatch of Rosie units and components. This includes verifying incoming shipments, logging serial numbers, inspecting for damage, and preparing outgoing packages with accurate labeling and documentation.
• Cleaning & Disinfecting: Perform thorough cleaning and disinfection of devices during the repair process.
• Testing: Conduct minimal functional testing using our built-in diagnostic application.
• Component Installation: Install new hardware components as part of repair or upgrade procedures.
• Packaging: Ensure repaired units are properly packaged and ready for shipment or redeployment.
• Data Management: Track repair procedures, time spent, and outcomes in asset management software.
• Additional tasks as necessary.

Experience

• Demonstrated experience repairing PC equipment or comparable devices (e.g., consumer electronics, robotics, small machinery).
• Familiarity with asset management or tracking software is a plus.
• Shipping and Receiving experience helpful.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Comfortable standing, bending, and working in a warehouse or lab environment for extended periods.
