The Repair Engineer plays a supporting role through both individual and team assignments for turbomachinery (including gas turbines, centrifugal compressors, and steam turbines) in our Houston area shops. In many cases they must apply technical and business knowledge to ensure successful outcomes for customers. * Qualifying repair procedures on turbomachinery in the Baker Hughes service shops. * Managing technical issues arising during the repair process. * Supporting service shop activities by providing technical leadership and guidance throughout the entire repair process. * Developing Integrated solutions with cross-functional teams utilizing products and service components to address customer needs regarding turbomachinery equipment. * Engaging with customers during technical issue resolution or shop visits. * Have a degree in engineering and 2-5+ yrs of professional experience with turbomachinery products. * Have previous experience with heavy-duty, aero-derivative, or industrial gas turbines. * Have impressive interpersonal and leadership skills and the ability to influence others and lead small teams and coordinate several projects simultaneously * Possess effective problem identification and solution skills, as well as analytical and organizational ability We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
