The Regional General Manager – MENA will be responsible for building and leading Sigenergy’s regional business operations, driving sales growth across residential, C&I, and utility-scale segments, expanding channel partnerships, and establishing a strong local presence across key MENA markets.
This role will oversee regional sales strategy, utility-scale project development, distributor development, key account management, and the recruitment and leadership of local sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute Sigenergy’s MENA regional market strategy aligned with global business objectives.
- Drive revenue growth across residential, commercial & industrial (C&I), and utility-scale energy storage markets.
- Identify high-growth markets and lead market entry strategies across key MENA countries.
- Achieve regional sales targets, revenue growth, and market share objectives.
- Establish relationships with utilities, IPPs (Independent Power Producers), project developers, EPC contractors, and government stakeholders.
- Establish and build the MENA regional sales organization.
- Recruit, manage, and mentor regional sales managers, country managers, and business development leaders.
- Represent Sigenergy at industry events, trade shows, and key energy forums.
- Build Sigenergy’s brand awareness and market credibility in the MENA region.
- Identify emerging opportunities in grid services, energy storage, and smart energy infrastructure.
- Ensure effective forecasting, pipeline management, and sales performance tracking.
- Coordinate with internal teams including product, marketing, engineering, and supply chain. Provide regular reporting to headquarters on regional performance and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Engineering, Energy, or related fields.
- 10+ years of experience in renewable energy, energy storage, solar, power electronics, or related industries.
- Proven experience managing regional or multi-country sales teams.
- Strong experience in utility-scale project development or large energy infrastructure projects.
- Deep network within utilities, IPPs, EPCs, developers, and distributors in the MENA region.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
- Fluent in English & Chinese; Arabic is a strong advantage.
