R&D Coordinator

Position Summary
The R&D Coordinator is responsible for orchestrating the operational flow between Beaconcure’s multidisciplinary engineering teams, including Software Development, Data Engineering, and Data Science. This role ensures the effective tracking of the R&D roadmap, maintains clear visibility of team progress, and identifies dependencies to support predictable delivery. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses excellent English communication skills, and can partner closely with Product and R&D leads to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Tracking
- Monitor the day-to-day activities and progress of the Software, Data Engineering, and Data Science teams.
- Act as the primary operational link and communication bridge between Israel/Europe-based R&D teams and US-based executive leadership, including the CTO.
- Ensure tasks are tracked accurately, maintaining visibility on workload distribution and delivery focus.
- Identify risks and bottlenecks early, driving coordination for issue resolution.
- Provide structured status updates and progress reports to the CTO and senior leadership.
- Ensure all R&D activities comply with internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies.
Operational Excellence
- Facilitate and maintain effective R&D processes, including scheduling sprint planning, reviews, and sync meetings.
- Support continuous improvement in development workflows and release management.
- Work with QA, DevOps, and Product teams to ensure a smooth end-to-end delivery process.
- Maintain internal R&D documentation and ensure compliance with company standards.
Cross-Functional Synchronization
- Serve as a primary point of contact for R&D-related synchronization with the Product department.
- Help translate product roadmap goals into actionable engineering tasks and timelines.
- Coordinate with Customer Success and Data Operations to support customer outcomes and technical requirements.
Qualifications
Required
- Proven experience in project coordination, PMO, or R&D operations in a technology-driven environment.
- Full professional proficiency in English (written and verbal) – essential for global collaboration and documentation.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and data-oriented workflows.
- Proven ability to track priorities, timelines, and cross-team dependencies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred
- Experience working with Project Management tools (e.g., Jira, Monday.com).
- Exposure to Healthcare or Life Sciences industries or regulated environments.
- Experience with SaaS platforms or data-intensive solutions.
- Background in software development, data engineering, or data science is beneficial.
