About the Role
Job Title: Quantitative Developer

Work Arrangement: On-site
Responsibilities
- Work with product managers, research analysts, and other engineers to define project scope and requirements.
- Maintain, extend, and improve Intropic’s suite of products.
- Write clean, well-tested, and production-ready Python code.
- Collaborate with team leads to design and build a great product.
- Develop REST APIs, data processing pipelines, and Python libraries.
- Deploy production-quality code with a focus on being pragmatic and impactful.
- Maintain and monitor production systems and assist with support.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Independent and self-driven learner, able to step outside of their area of expertise.
- Proficiency in Python, including asyncio, SQLAlchemy, FastAPI, Pydantic, NumPy, and Pandas.
- Experience with SQL, including performance tuning, schema design, and monitoring in production (mainly PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with cloud (AWS) deployments and monitoring, basic networking, and security best practices.
