YOUR IMPACT

As a Quality Engineer , you will lead the development and implementation of quality assurance processes for the Alpha project—Proxima Fusion’s first integrated stellarator prototype. This role is critical to ensuring that our large, high-precision components meet stringent specifications for geometry, accuracy, and tolerance. Your work will directly enable rapid, first-time assembly of components and machines, setting the standard for quality and precision across our hardware development.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Define, implement, and oversee quality assurance processes throughout the manufacturing and assembly of large, high-precision components.
• Develop and execute inspection and testing plans, with a focus on geometrical accuracy, tolerance analysis, and large-part measurement .

WHO YOU ARE

• Strong experience in quality assurance , , and — ideally on large, complex components in fields such as aerospace, energy, or advanced manufacturing.
