Role Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Intern to support our Engineering team in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to test web applications, identify issues, and improve overall user experience. This role offers hands-on exposure to real-world testing processes in an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand product requirements, features, and user workflows
- Design, write, and execute test cases and test scenarios
- Perform manual testing of web applications and software systems
- Identify, log, and track bugs using tools like Jira
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and UI testing
- Validate APIs using tools like Postman
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- Strong interest in software testing and quality assurance
Skills
- Basic understanding of
Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
and
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Knowledge of manual testing concepts and test case writing
- Familiarity with bug tracking and reporting processes
- Hands-on or academic exposure to tools such as: Jira, Postman (API testing), Browser Developer Tools etc.
Technical Basics
- Basic knowledge of
HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Understanding of databases and ability to write simple
SQL queries
Stipend:
₹35,000 – ₹45,000 per month (based on experience, technical skills, and academic background)
