To ensure this robot meets the highest expectations of safety, performance, and user experience, we are expanding our QA team for Hardware, Software, and System-Level Verification.
About the Role:
We are looking for QA Engineers across HW/SW/Application to join the humanoid robot program.
You will be responsible for system-level verification, integration testing, functional validation, and ensuring that the robot meets all User Needs → SyRS → HWRS/SWRS/APRS requirements.
This role is ideal for someone who loves robots, embedded systems, AI-driven features, and wants to test a product that interacts with the physical world.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Convert User Needs, SyRS, HWRS into test scenarios & test cases.
Design and execute System Integration Tests (SIT).
Validate interactions between Hardware – Firmware – Software – Mobile App – Cloud.
Develop, maintain and execute hardware QA test plans, test procedures, test cases covering component (e.g., PCB, motor driver, sensor board), subsystem (arm, hand, leg, torso) and full-robot integration levels.
Perform functional, performance, reliability, stress, environmental, EMC/EMI…
Design automated or semi-automated test rigs, fixtures and software tools for production QA and test automation.
Write Test Plan, Test Cases, Traceability Matrix.
Perform regression testing.
Track issues in Jira.
Work with HW/SW/AI teams to resolve integration issues.
REQUIREMENTS
Relevant education and experience
Background in Mechatronics, Robotics, Electronics, Computer Science.
Experience testing robots, IoT, embedded systems, or consumer devices.
Knowledge of at least two domains: mobility, sensors, embedded firmware, AI, mobile apps.
Ability to write test cases, bug reports, test scripts.
Experience with Jira, TestRail, or similar tools.
Comfortable testing physical robots in real environments.
Nice to Have
Experience with humanoid robots or AMRs.
Understanding of SLAM, motion control, obstacle avoidance.
Knowledge of Matter/Zigbee/Z-Wave/BLE/WiFi.
Understanding AES-256/TLS1.3, private mode validation.
Familiarity with V-Model, ISO 29148, ISO 13482, IEC 61508.
Basic scripting (Python) for test automation.
