What we are looking for in you:
We are looking for a QA/QC Tester (Oil and Gas Domain AI) to validate the accuracy, reliability, and performance of AIEngineer. The role involves testing AI-generated engineering outputs, validating calculations, verifying adherence to engineering standards, and ensuring system robustness across real-world industrial use cases.
This position requires a strong mix of software QA skills + engineering domain validation.
What will be your role in AIEngineer:
Functional Testing
· Test AIEngineer features including chat workflows, engineering tools, and document analysis
· Validate AI responses against engineering standards, codes, and best practices
· Perform UI/UX testing across web interfaces
· Develop test cases for engineering workflows (process, mechanical, instrumentation, electrical)
AI Output Validation (Core Responsibility)
· Verify engineering calculations generated by AI
· Validate PFD/P&ID logic and engineering reasoning
· Check compliance with standards (API, ASME, ISO, IEC, etc.)
· Identify hallucinations, incorrect assumptions, or unsafe recommendations
· Rate AI responses for accuracy, completeness, and usability
QA/QC Process
· Develop and maintain test plans and test scenarios
· Create structured QA validation datasets
· Execute regression testing for model updates
· Track bugs and inconsistencies using issue tracking tools
· Work closely with AI engineers to improve model performance
Performance & Reliability Testing
· Test system response time and stability
· Validate multi-turn conversation consistency
· Test edge cases and ambiguous engineering queries
· Evaluate robustness for real-world industrial scenarios
Documentation
· Prepare QA test reports
· Document known limitations and risk areas
· Create validation benchmarks for AI performance
· Maintain QA test libraries
What kind of skilled person we are looking
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or similar)
· 2+ years’ experience in QA testing OR engineering validation
· Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals
· Experience writing structured test cases
· Familiarity with software QA methodologies
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Experience in Oil & Gas / Mining / Industrial projects
· Experience testing AI/LLM-based applications
· Knowledge of engineering standards (API, ASME, IEC, ISO)
· Experience with P&ID, calculations, and datasheets
· Exposure to Python or automation testing tools
· Experience with Jira / TestRail / Azure DevOps
