Augmodo is at the forefront of Spatial AI, where mapping connects the digital and physical worlds, through devices such as smart badges at retail stores. We are looking for a QA Engineer with experience in embedded system validation, especially during board bring-up and early hardware testing. You’ll be responsible for writing and running tests for new hardware platforms, validating camera systems and ISP pipelines, and supporting factory test development (FTAP). This role bridges hardware, software, and image testing — perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work with boards and writing Python scripts to automate tests. * Write and maintain test cases for new embedded boards during bring-up and validation phases. * Develop and run Python-based tests for hardware interfaces (camera, Wi-Fi, SPI, CAN, I2C, USB, etc.). * Test and verify MIPI camera integration and ISP tuning pipelines, including resolution, frame rate, and stability. * Support FTAP (Factory Test Automation Platform): write test modules and maintain station-level validation logic. * Diagnose hardware failures, track bugs, and report issues with logs and detailed analysis. * Work with firmware, hardware, and vendor teams to validate builds and production samples. * Maintain clear documentation of test plans, results, and procedures. * 1–2 years of QA or validation experience in embedded systems, hardware testing, or factory validation. * Experience writing Python scripts for test automation. * Familiarity with basic hardware debugging tools (multimeter, oscilloscope, serial console). * Exposure to Linux or Android systems (basic command line and log analysis). * Bonus: experience testing camera modules, Wi-Fi performance, or factory line test stations. $130,000 - $155,000 USD + Equity
