Biolyz is a saliva-based biomarker testing solution. We provide daily saliva testing with a 24h analysis timeline for over 125+ biomarkers. We leverage biomarkers to predict injuries and performance for athlete teams.

Based in Austria, we collaborate with top football clubs and high-level sports organizations, offering a fast-paced, innovative environment where your expertise can have a real impact.

Your Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain backend systems using Python to support Biolyz’s biomarker analytics platform
• Design and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and data pipelines for ingestion, processing, and reporting of high‑volume biometric data
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code; own CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Collaborate closely with data science, QA, and front‑end teams to deliver end‑to‑end features
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and technical discussions to drive consistency and quality
• Monitor and optimize application performance; debug production issues with efficiency
• Help document system architecture and assist in developing operational procedures (SOPs) and technical best practices
• Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in software workflows and development standards

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred) is a plus but not necessary if track record proves otherwise
