VeriSmart is a blockchain-based data exchange platform that enables businesses to exchange their data
with each other in a privacy-compliant manner, helping enterprises retain data ownership and protect their users from third-party data abuse. VeriSmart platform tracks who shared what data with whom, when, by what means & for what purpose, without storing any user data on the platform. The platform helps businesses to create a recurring revenue model by monetizing their data with other enterprises and third parties on a subscription basis.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services with a focus on performance and scalability
- Translate functional requirements into well-tested, reliable code
- Create and integrate RESTful APIs
- Ensure backend systems are secure, robust, and maintainable
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment
- Proactively troubleshoot issues and own solutions end-to-end
- Learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced setup
Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- 1+ years of hands-on experience in Python backend development
Skills We're Looking For
- Strong grip on Python with experience in Django, Flask, or FastAPI
- Good understanding of REST APIs and their integration
- Experience with databases - SQL or NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB)
- Familiarity with Git, basic Unit Testing, and development best practices
- Problem-solving mindset with clean, modular code writing
- Eagerness to learn and grow with the team
