We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a portfolio of finance compliance initiatives. This role sits within a broader IT transformation programme focused on evolving the Finance Systems landscape in a regulated, operationally complex environment.
You’ll work alongside multiple Project Managers, with a Programme Manager responsible for overall IT delivery, and will play a key role in coordinating delivery across finance, IT, and third-party partners.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end delivery of finance compliance projects within a wider transformation programme
- Managing delivery across both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, adapting approach as required
- Coordinating internal teams, external vendors, and third-party delivery partners
- Managing risks, dependencies, governance, and change within a regulated energy environment
- Partnering closely with finance and IT stakeholders to deliver system and process improvements
Required Experience
- Proven experience delivering finance or compliance-led projects
- Strong background working across both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments
- Experience managing vendors and third-party resources
Experience delivering change within finance systems, ideally including:
- Reconciliations
- Record to Report
- Journal Management
- Treasury Management
Experience within the energy sector or similarly regulated, asset-heavy environments is highly desirable
Location
- Hybrid working, with an expectation of 2 days per week onsite in Glasgow office
