Role Summary

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing automotive software engineering projects from initiation through to completion. This role requires a "go-get" mindset, strong technical know-how in software development (preferably automotive), and excellent organizational and communication skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards, contributing directly to our "Safer AI - Safer Roads" vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Track project progress, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Manage communication with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status.
• Ensure all projects comply with automotive industry standards and roboGaze's quality management system.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in project management and software development.
• Utilize your technical know-how to understand project challenges and facilitate problem-solving.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in automotive software engineering or a related technical field.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), agile methodologies, and project management tools.
• Demonstrable "tech know-how" with an ability to grasp complex technical concepts related to AI, machine learning, and automotive systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment with a proactive and results-oriented "go-get" mindset.
• Experience with automotive standards (e.g., ASPICE, ISO 26262) is highly advantageous.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
