Job Description
The Equity and Inclusion Office (EIO), under the auspices of the Vice Provost, Equity and Inclusion, has a wide-ranging responsibility to collaborate with both campus and community partners. As well as ensuring that the university is compliant with government directives. Our mandate includes identifying and resolving equity and inclusion issues, providing advisory services, promoting awareness and education on accessibility, equity, and inclusion, and facilitating the implementation of policies and practices that ensure fair and timely resolution of incidents related to harassment, discrimination, and sexual violence, including investigation services.
Job Summary
This position will support the implementation of the major projects and initiatives across the four significant areas of concentration in the Equity and Inclusion Office: Human Rights and Dispute Resolution, the Sexual Violence Prevention Response Office (SVPRO), Accessibility and Disability Inclusion, and Equity, Inclusion and Anti-Oppression. The Project Coordinator coordinates multiple concurrent projects, meeting high quality standards, budget constraints, and timelines. They are responsible for supporting the development, planning and efficient operation of the EIO and its related programs, and coordinating all aspects of our programs including administration, implementation, promotion, and resource, and financial management. They will assist with and maintain the efficient administrative coordination of the EIO and its related programs under the direction of senior staff. They support data informed strategic alliances between the projects and faculty, staff, student groups, and the greater community to create and maintain a culture of inclusion and belonging at McMaster.

Hiring Range: $64,179 - $81,605
The posted hiring range represents McMaster's typical hiring range for this position. Actual starting salary will depend on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity, and market conditions.
Individuals with extensive experience, deep specialized expertise, and/or those who can demonstrate exceptional past performance, as applicable, may be hired at a higher rate within the full range, in accordance with the University compensation policies.
