Nuclear Operations and Facilities at McMaster comprises a world class suite of nuclear facilities, including the McMaster Nuclear Reactor, the Centre for Advanced Nuclear Systems shielded facilities, the McMaster University Cyclotron Facility, the McMaster Accelerator Laboratory, the McMaster High Level Laboratory facility and the Taylor Radiobiology Source. This suite of nuclear facilities is key to our identity as “Canada’s Nuclear University” and a major effort is underway to increase the research and educational impact of these facilities in this priority strategic area of the University.
Reporting to the Manager, Nuclear Outreach & Education, the Program Coordinator will support efforts to deliver McMaster Nuclear’s diverse suite of nuclear programming, with a focus on events and outreach activities that bring learners of all ages through our nuclear facilities. The role will be instrumental in advancing McMaster’s mission to deliver engaging and inclusive nuclear education, foster interdisciplinary connections, and cultivate authentic and long-lasting relationships with Indigenous partners.
Job Summary:
Responsible for developing, planning, and maintaining the efficient operation of a division and its related programs, and coordinating all aspects of the program including curriculum administration, implementation, promotion, recruitment, resource, and financial management. Implements and maintains the efficient administrative operation at a designated site under the direction of senior staff.

Provide orientation and show procedures to others.
Requirements:
2 year Community College diploma in Office Administration or related field.

Additional Information:
