Job Title: Vehicle Diagnostics Professional
Location: Melbourne and Brisbane Australia
Department: Engineering / Technical Services
Employment Type: Full-Time Paid Internship
Experience: Entry level or Automotive technical professional
Key Responsibilities
• Perform diagnostics on vehicle infotainment and control systems.
• Execute ECU updates, variant coding, and related processes using OEM tools.
• Interpret DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) reports and carry out troubleshooting.
• Support engineering teams by operating OEM-specific diagnostic and testing tools.
• Document diagnostic findings, updates, and test results in a clear and accurate manner.
• Ensure all work adheres to OEM guidelines, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Travel to Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth for the same activity as and when required (Travel arrangement will be covered).
Education Qualification
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Mechatronics, or related technical field OR Certified/Qualified Vehicle Diagnostics personnel
Required Skills & Competencies
• Strong understanding of automotive infotainment and control systems
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools, variant coding, and ECU update procedures
• Basic knowledge of CAN communication and vehicle network protocols
• Good troubleshooting and analytical abilities
• Strong documentation and reporting skills
• Ability to work effectively with OEM-specific engineering tools
• Should have valid Australian VISA to work in Australia.
Preferred Experience
• Hands-on experience working on vehicles or machinery with embedded control systems
• Exposure to automotive software update processes and tools.
