The role translates retail lending strategy, credit policy, and regulatory requirements into a scalable, customer-centric digital product that delivers measurable commercial and risk outcomes.

Key Accountabilities

• Own retail lending product outcomes: Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog across the full retail lending lifecycle (application, credit decisioning, servicing, collections)
• Drive value- and risk-based prioritization: Translate business objectives, credit risk appetite, and regulatory constraints into clear requirements and prioritization decisions
• Lead agile delivery execution: Provide day-to-day direction to delivery squads, manage scope and trade-offs, and ensure timely, high-quality releases
• Ensure cross-functional credit alignment: Partner closely with Credit Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations, and Technology to deliver policy-compliant and auditable solutions
• Optimize retail credit performance: Monitor and improve KPIs such as application conversion, approval rates, decisioning cycle time, delinquency, NPLs, and NPS

Experience

5–8+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role within retail banking or consumer lending

Demonstrated hands-on experience with retail credit processes, including underwriting, decisioning, and servicing

Proven track record of delivering digital lending products in agile environments

Experience working with complex stakeholder groups across business, risk, and technology

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business, Engineering) or equivalent work experience.

Knowledge

• Strong understanding of retail lending products, credit risk frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
• Solid grounding in Agile / Scrum product delivery.
• Strong analytical, structured problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Clear, executive-level communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Familiarity with product and delivery tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
