HealthKey helps doctors’ offices find patients for clinical trials with AI. We partner with research organizations and sites (i.e. doctors offices), integrate deeply with their EHRs, and use AI to find eligible patients for their trials.
Our product is a SaaS powered by AI Agents that mirror clinics' existing operations, with a UX for clinical support teams to review. We have dozens of active/paying customers, and a huge backlog of customers and clinical trials to onboard (we need your help!).
We're a part of Y Combinator's W25 batch, raised a Seed round, and work in-person in both Austin, TX and Chihuahua, MX. Our founding team has worked together for years (prev. startup raised $160M Series B). We work intensely, are customer obsessed, and genuinely enjoy the craft.

THE JOB
You'll own clinical trial onboarding and success, ensuring HealthKey's product is helping find patients for our customers' clinical trials. You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Medical leadership as peers as we scale. This role reports directly to our Medical Director.

HealthKey fixes this: We use AI to read full medical histories directly from EMRs, turning a haystack of 80,000 patients into the exact 42 who perfectly match a trial's eligibility criteria. This precision changes the economics of the industry: trials that enroll faster cost less, and trials that cost less mean more treatments faster.

Onboard new clinical trials
: Review protocols, translate inclusion/exclusion criteria into HealthKey's system, and configure trials for accurate patient matching.
Validate product accuracy
: QA patient matches against protocol criteria, checking for edge cases and clinical correctness before they reach customers.
Ensure clinical precision
: Validate that labs, diagnoses, medications, and timelines are handled correctly.
Optimize operations
: Build and refine internal processes for trial setup, QA workflows, and customer handoffs to maximize efficiency.
Bridge clinical and technical
: Work with engineering to communicate clinical nuances, report bugs, and prioritize product improvements that matter.
Build scalable systems
: Document SOPs, create training materials, and establish operational best practices as we scale to hundreds of trials.
Monitor trial performance
: Track key metrics (patient identification rates, time-to-activation, match accuracy) and proactively identify issues.
Support Customer Success
: Partner with the CSM team to troubleshoot complex cases and ensure customers get maximum value from the platform.
