Centinus delivers AI-powered protective systems that enable autonomous drone operations and real-time situational awareness for defense, public safety, and critical infrastructure customers. Our platform applies AI to aerial intelligence, sensor-driven workflows, and operational decision support, helping customers detect, interpret, and respond to events in demanding real-world environments.
About the Role
Centinus is seeking a Product Manager to drive product definition and execution across our AI-powered autonomy and situational awareness platform. This is a high-ownership role at the intersection of customer engagement, product strategy, and technical execution, working directly with customers, operators, and engineering to translate operational needs into product requirements, roadmap decisions, and delivered capabilities. The ideal candidate brings strong product judgment, technical fluency, and the ability to bring clarity to complex inputs, make sound tradeoffs, and align product development with mission needs, customer commitments, and company objectives. Experience supporting military, government, or public safety customers is highly valued, and familiarity with AI-enabled products, secure operating environments, mission systems, and contract-driven requirements is a strong plus.
What You’ll Do
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience in product management, technical product management, systems engineering, or a similar cross-functional role.
Demonstrated success defining and delivering complex technical products in close partnership with engineering teams.
Proven ability to convert customer, stakeholder, and operational input into clear, engineering-ready product priorities.
Strong understanding of backlog management, roadmap planning, and Agile or similar product development processes.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting AI-enabled, data-driven, or software-intensive products.
Experience supporting defense, military, government, or public safety customers.
Familiarity with government contracting or contract-driven product requirements.
Experience with drones, robotics, autonomy, ISR, AI/ML, computer vision, video analytics, sensor fusion, or mission systems.
Experience working on products involving model-driven features such as detection, classification, tracking, prediction, or decision support.
Active U.S. security clearance, or eligibility to obtain one.
Experience supporting field operations, mission systems, or secure deployments.
Desired Attributes
Mission-focused and customer-oriented.
Technically fluent and comfortable working through product tradeoffs with engineering and AI teams.
Able to bring structure and clarity to complex or ambiguous inputs.
Strong judgment in balancing customer urgency, engineering capacity, model performance considerations, and long-term product direction.
Comfortable operating in an early and growth-stage environment.
Compensation
The expected base salary range for this role is $140,000–$160,000, plus company equity, with final compensation determined based on experience, qualifications, and alignment with the role’s requirements.
