Meridian Innovation is expanding its CMOS-based thermal imaging portfolio and is seeking a Product Manager to lead the definition, execution, and lifecycle management of our thermal products as we scale into our next phase of growth.
Built on Meridian’s proprietary CMOS thermal technology platform, our products are designed for manufacturability, cost efficiency, and broad market adoption. This role is responsible for translating market needs into clear product definitions and executing predictable, scalable roadmaps that meet customer, operational, and financial objectives.
The Product Manager serves as the bridge between customers, engineering, and the business—ensuring that our thermal technology moves from innovation to high-volume deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Define comprehensive product requirements covering resolution, sensitivity, power, frame rate, form factor, and cost, while incorporating AI image processing, reliability, and manufacturability considerations.
Lead products through the full lifecycle: concept, architecture, design, tape-out, validation, calibration, qualification, production ramp, and sustainment.
Drive disciplined trade-offs between thermal performance, silicon complexity, yield, cost structure, and time-to-market.
Work closely with CMOS design, process, test, packaging, firmware, AI image processing, and operations teams to ensure execution predictability
Coordinate with foundry, OSAT, optics, and module partners to achieve system-level performance and cost targets
Conduct market and competitive analysis to guide product differentiation and portfolio prioritization
Support go-to-market execution including positioning, pricing, design-win strategy, customer engagements, and sales enablement
Track and manage product KPIs including revenue, ASPs, gross margin, yield, design wins, and customer adoption.
Communicate product strategy, milestones, risks, and progress clearly to executive leadership and, as needed, investors and board members.
Qualifications – Required
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related technical discipline.
5+ years of experience in product management or technical leadership within semiconductors or imaging technologies.
Solid understanding of CMOS design trade-offs and high-volume manufacturing constraints.
Experience working cross-functionally across design, operations, and commercial teams.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to balance technical depth and business outcomes.
Clear, concise communication skills suitable for executive and customer-facing discussions.
Qualifications – Preferred
Experience with CMOS-based thermal, IR, or imaging sensors.
Familiarity with calibration, temperature compensation, and system-level thermal performance.
Experience scaling products from early adoption to high-volume deployment.
-Experience in fast-paced growth environments or investor-facing roles.
What Success Looks Like
CMOS thermal products that meet cost, performance, and scalability targets.
Predictable product execution from tape-out through production ramp.
Strong design-win momentum across industrial, smart device, and consumer applications.
Clear alignment between product roadmaps, operational readiness, and revenue growth.
