ThirdAI Automation
builds agentic AI for industrial operations — AI agents that diagnose, fix, and pre-empt process upsets so engineers can focus on yield, not fire drills. Our platform powers root cause analysis, document intelligence, and real-time copilots across semiconductors, utilities, automotive, and other heavy industries.
We’ve raised $3M and work with teams globally, saving 200–300 engineering hours per month per site. We’re built for accuracy with near-zero hallucinations, explainability by design, and enterprise-grade security (ISO 27001, SOC 2, and on-prem or air-gapped deployment). Our team combines industrial veterans and applied AI builders, pairing shop-floor pragmatism with state-of-the-art agent architectures.
We're hiring builders who want ownership, speed, and impact in a category-defining industrial AI company.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end product design for key surfaces of the ThirdAI platform — root cause analysis workflows, document intelligence views, the data talk, and knowledge graph interfaces.
- Turn dense, technical industrial workflows (sensor data, process logs, specs, images) into clear, intuitive experiences that engineers actually trust and use on the shop floor
- Work closely with engineers and product to ship fast, high-quality features in a fast-moving startup environment
- Design flows, interactions, and UI for complex data-heavy contexts — think confidence scores, causal chains, evidence linking, and structured reporting — with strong attention to clarity and detail
- Contribute to product thinking, not just execution; help define what the right experience looks like when AI agents surface root causes and recommendations to human operators
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of experience designing and shipping digital products
- Strong interaction and visual design fundamentals
- Familiarity with industrial, manufacturing, or enterprise B2B software
- Comfort working on technical or complex products — you don't need to be a process engineer, but you should be energized by learning how factories, fabs, and plants work and translating that into great UX
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and make good decisions with incomplete information — industrial domains are messy and you'll often be designing for workflows that don't have clean precedents
- Clear communication and strong product intuition
- High ownership mindset — you care deeply about what ships
Nice to have
- Experience designing data-dense or analytics-heavy products (dashboards, monitoring tools, operational software)
- Experience designing AI-powered products or systems, especially where explainability and trust matter
- Some hands-on experience with code, or a genuine interest in experimenting with it
- Familiarity with design systems and scaling patterns
Why ThirdAI Automation
- You'll design experiences where AI meets the physical world — the interface between intelligent agents and the engineers who keep critical infrastructure running
- Small, tight-knit team with real ownership and direct impact on the product
- Fast feedback loops with real industrial users who rely on the platform daily
- A front-row seat to how AI-native industrial software is being built from scratch
