Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled
Power BI Engineer
with 4–6 years of experience in data analytics and business intelligence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing interactive dashboards, transforming data into meaningful insights, and supporting business teams with data-driven decision-making using Microsoft Power BI.
Key Responsibilities
Required Skills
4–6 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI development.
Strong experience in
DAX, data modeling, and dashboard development
.
Preferred / Good to Have
Experience with
cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure
.
Knowledge of
data visualization best practices
.
Familiarity with tools like
Azure Data Factory or other ETL tools
.
Experience in
Agile/Scrum environments
.
Design, develop, and maintain
interactive dashboards and reports
using Microsoft Power BI.
Perform
data transformation and data preparation
using Power Query.
Develop and optimize
data models and calculations using DAX
.
Connect and integrate Power BI with multiple data sources such as SQL databases, Excel, APIs, and cloud platforms.
Ensure
data accuracy, consistency, and performance optimization
of dashboards and reports.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements.
Implement
data security, access controls, and row-level security
within Power BI.
Monitor report performance and troubleshoot data refresh issues.
Support the development of
ETL processes and data pipelines
in collaboration with data engineering teams.
Proficiency in
SQL
for querying and data manipulation.
Experience with
data transformation using Power Query
.
Understanding of
data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
.
Experience working with
large datasets and multiple data sources
.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
