Zaden Technologies is seeking an experienced L3 and L4 Power BI Automation Engineer to join our team supporting critical defense and space system initiatives. This role will work directly with customers to identify requirements, develop functioning prototypes, and deliver decision support tools that enhance operational efficiency and data-driven decision making. The position requires collaboration with data scientists, business analysts, and technical staff to execute projects of strategic importance while building trusted advisor relationships with leadership across defense organizations.
Role Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI to support executive-level decision making
- Create and configure automated workflows using Power Apps and Power Automate to enhance user experience and operational efficiency
Required Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, science, or technical field
- 5+ years of IT support experience with at least 1 year of advanced O365 experience
- Demonstrated experience with Power BI dashboard development and data visualization
- Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate workflow development
- Strong communication skills with ability to work with stakeholders and leadership at all levels
- Ability to work independently with keen attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Living within commuting distance to San Antonio, TX
- Active security clearance
- Master's degree in technical field
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Active Directory
- At least two Microsoft 365 certifications (Endpoint Administrator, Messaging Administrator, Security Administrator, Modern Desktop Administrator, Developer Associate, Teams Administrator, Identity and Access Administrator, or Information Protection and Compliance Administrator)
