Detailed Description
We are looking for a PDRA to complete the work described in a Scottish Government High Growth Spinout award focused on the commercialisation of research work relating to the development of an automated water monitoring system for waterborne pathogens, and wider applications. Sample processing to effectively concentrate from a larger volume is a major challenge in the monitoring of pathogens. This project will design and develop a range of improved systems for sample processing, based on market feedback. The work is focused on the optimisation of system design to maximise performance and ensure excellent market-fit. The post involves lab-based design, assembly and testing of systems and components. Additional to the lab work, the project involves an element of customer engagement, working with end-users to trial and develop the technology.
