LMI seeks a Portfolio Management Analyst – Mission Support Specialist to support a federal program management office in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Join our team of collaborative self-starters focused on delivering practical and efficient solutions to help our client keep U.S. borders safe and facilitate trade and travel. As part of our high-performing team, you will augment our vital work to provide “eyes and ears” technology to protect our nation. Specifically, this position will support the Subterranean (SubT) Portfolio. The management analyst – Mission Support Specialist will support the planning, acquisition, deployment, and sustainment of various tower technologies along the US borders.

Responsibilities
You will support one of our client’s programs by providing management analysis and planning; cost, schedule, risk, records, and inventory management; and deliverable development and oversight. You will compile management information from the project including scope, cost, schedule, performance, and quality to provide visibility into deployment progress. Representative general responsibilities include:

Track key program documents and updates to ensure timely and accurate record-keeping
Manage MS Teams access and channels to facilitate effective communication and collaboration
Maintain and update email distribution lists to ensure efficient information dissemination
Coordinate the creation and distribution of the SubT Newsletter
Oversee the SubT Milestone Card to track and report on project progress
Qualifications
Target salary range: $91,000 - $155,000 . Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications.

Manage and report on cost, schedule, quality, and performance goals

Provide program surge support, including local or on-site travel as needed
Perform secretarial duties such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence
Create and manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance
Act as the Concur Subject Matter Expert (SME) for travel and expense management
Coordinate SubT awards, including nomination processes and recognition events
Ability to pass a government background investigation, including financial, criminal, residential, educational, foreign affiliation, prohibited substance use, and employment verifications; active U.S. Customs and Border Protection background investigation preferred. Please note that only U.S. citizens are eligible for a suitability determination.
Previous work with CBP is a plus
3 to 10 years of administrative support experience and a Bachelor’s in business, management, finance, or information management
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Teams, and SharePoint.
Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders
Ability to effectively solve problems
Strong communication skills, both oral and written

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
