Overview

As a Platform Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in enabling all product teams to ship faster, more reliably, and with greater autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Lead a platform engineering team of 3-5 senior platform engineers.
• Build an engineering roadmap for the team, sequence work, and ensure delivery.
• Design and deliver platform tools that enhance developer productivity and satisfaction.
• Participate in the wider engineering leadership/architecture forum to tackle higher-level projects, addressing tech-debt, stability, observability, and developer experience.
• Analyze team cadence, identify areas for improvement, and ensure focus on the most important problems.
• Directly manage engineers through regular 1:1s, feedback weeks, and career progression support.
• Collaborate with engineering and company leadership to align priorities, manage expectations, and translate strategy into actionable plans.
