Who you are

• Scripting experience: Golang, Python and bash are our ‘go-to’ languages in platform, while our main applications are in PHP and Golang
• Infrastructure as code experience: ideally Terraform, but Pulumi and CloudFormation are great too
• 4+ years hands-on experience with AWS; Azure or GCP is also acceptable
• 3+ years experience with container orchestration: Kubernetes (standalone or EKS) or OpenShift
• Familiarity and comfort with dockerising applications
• Experience automatically deploying containers into a number of environments
• Experience of working in a multi-region, multi-account AWS environment
• Hands-on experience building and managing secure infrastructure in regulated environments
• An interest in Microservice Architecture / Mesh technologies and how to deploy/manage them
• Someone with a genuine interest in Chip and is excited about being part of a fast-growing company and our mission to build the investment super app of the future

What the job involves

• As a Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and scaling our cloud infrastructure, ensuring it is both performant and secure
• Working with modern technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes and Terraform, you'll be responsible for building and optimising a platform that supports our fast growing fintech
• We have a strong emphasis on cloud security best practices to ensure our infrastructure remains robust and compliant
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-quality infrastructure that meets the needs of our business
• You should be able to be flexible in response to customer needs and work closely with a team of developers to help build the world’s best wealth app
• Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Start your weekend early!)
