The platform operates on a containerized microservices architecture with Django-based backend services communicating via REST APIs behind an API gateway.
We are looking for a Platform Backend Engineering Intern who is interested in working on real-world backend systems such as authentication infrastructure, IAM, billing systems, API services, and platform-level architecture.
This internship provides hands-on experience building production-grade backend systems used across multiple services within the Scalifi Ai platform.

What You Will Learn:
During this internship, you will gain practical experience with:
Work on the core backend services of the Scalifi Ai platform built using Django and Django REST Framework.
Understand and contribute to the central authentication server, which powers:
Identity & Access Management (IAM)
Billing and usage tracking
Platform-wide authentication and authorization
Design and develop RESTful APIs used by multiple services within the platform.
Assist in implementing and improving OAuth-based authentication providers.
Contribute to enhancements in billing systems, usage metering, and subscription management.
Work with containerized development environments using Docker.
Collaborate with the team to maintain and improve inter-service communication in a microservices architecture.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following engineering best practices.
Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and platform improvements.
