Job description:
As a physical design/implementation engineer, you will contribute to the backend design of high performance computing sub-system, such as CPU, NPU, GPU, CMN etc. The products will widely cover server, smartphone, automotive and cloud technology, etc. Your responsibilities will be related, but not limited to
· Participate in the design and implementation of the leading edge, back-end ASIC design flow
· Participate in the research of design methodology to improve automation and productivity
· Physical design implementation
Qualifications:
· Solid knowledge and experience in Physical Design of blocks
· Experience in Clock/Power distribution, P&R, Timing Closure, RC Extraction, and verification on advanced nodes
· Expertise in scripting languages such as, shell, Perl, Tcl, etc.
· Familiar with mainstream EDA tools: Cadence, Synopsys and Mentor
· Able to consider impact on design decisions
· Bachelors or Master’s degree in EE, CE or CS, or equivalent, with above 2 years experience is preferred.
