Responsibilities

• Lead design of software architectures, conception, development, implementation, tests, documentation, and reviews.
• Manage development and maintenance of MLops pipeline for perception (annotation, automatic KPI calculation, CI/CD).
• Manage a team of excellent perception and software engineers.
• Recruitment and resource planning, and coordination of development efforts with other teams.
• Support product operations and development activities.
• Cooperate with systems engineers, software engineers, and controls engineers to deliver a well-integrated full autonomous driving stack.
• Travel to customers or own testing areas as required.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in robotics, mechanical or electrical engineering, computer science, or a similar field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a team lead.
• Demonstrated experience with autonomous driving sensors (LiDAR, camera), and geometric and ML-based perception.
• Experience with high availability deployed solutions.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
• Experience with one or more of the following is a plus:
  • ROS
  • OpenCV
  • PCL
  • Nvidia HW/SW ecosystem
  • Autonomous vehicle safety standards.
• Passionate about autonomous driving, comfortable with a leading role, and a hands-on mentality.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
