Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize perception algorithms for autonomous driving on private grounds.
• Test the perception stack in simulation and real-life test setups (i.e., our own test vehicles).
• Document code, designs, and test results concisely.
• Cooperate with systems engineers, software engineers, and controls engineers to deliver a well-integrated full autonomous driving stack.
• Perform reviews of requirements, test specifications, and code.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in the field to continuously improve and adapt perception systems.
• Travel to customers or own testing areas as required.

Requirements

• MSc or BSc in robotics, mechanical or electrical engineering, computer science, or a similar field.
• Demonstrated experience with autonomous driving sensors (LiDAR, camera) and perception and localization algorithms.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
• Experience with one or more of the following is a plus:
  • ROS, OpenCV, PCL
  • Nvidia HW/SW ecosystem
  • Autonomous vehicle safety standards
  • Other autonomous driving topics like motion planning, mapping, etc.
  • Rust
• Passionate about autonomous driving, self-driven, team player, and a hands-on mentality.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
