Lead the entire employee journey: hire, onboard, develop, retain. Build score cards, performance management and employee relations. Manage payroll coordination with our external counsel, and employee benefits. Track and report key people & operational metrics to leadership. Ensure all HR policies, contracts, and processes are legally sound and interact with legal entities - in partnership with our external attorney.
Design and deliver people initiatives that boost attractiveness, engagement, growth, and retention, from compensation benchmarking to training and engagement programmes. Coordinate cross-team initiatives, events, and rituals that keep us connected. Support and coach managers in people leadership, feedback, and communication skills.
Be the guardian and champion of our company culture in line with our values. Shape policies and practices that embed culture across the team.
Advise leadership on people strategy and organizational design to anticipate team growth and align People management with our business and financial strategy.
Drive our organizational development. Set up and optimize internal processes and tools for collaboration, efficiency, automation, and employee experience, to ensure R&D- and customer-centricity.
Support with other operational and legal matters (e.g. laboratory or data regulation, supplier contracts, NDAs, policy drafting, grant-writing).### Minimal qualifications
5+ years in HR / People Ops in a fast-paced environment, startup or scale-up and proven success. Experience in an AI, tech or biotech company.
Strong understanding of French employment law and HR best practices. Experience with policy development, performance management, and compliance.
Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects - comfortable working across HR, operations, and legal topics. The ability to zoom out to strategy and zoom in to detail and execution in a fast-paced environment.
A love for building from scratch and iterating fast and a data-driven mindset. You are proactive, solutions-focused — you make things happen and resolve issues effectively in a dynamic and evolving environment.
The rare mix of people-first empathy and operational discipline. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication, and the ability to collaborate with technical, scientific, and business teams.
Fluency in English and French.
