Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Pd Lead role located in Hyderabad. As the Pd Lead, you will oversee and drive physical design execution of semiconductor projects, ensuring high-quality results within set deadlines. Responsibilities include defining methodologies for physical design flows, floor planning, place and route, timing closure, and sign-off checks. You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to address challenges, improve efficiencies, and ensure seamless project delivery while mentoring and guiding junior team members.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive understanding of Physical Design, including floor planning, clock tree synthesis, and routing
- Strong proficiency in Timing Analysis, DRC, LVS, and Power Analysis
- Experience with industry-standard EDA tools such as ICC2, PrimeTime, Calibre, or similar
- Proficiency in scripting languages like TCL, Python, or Perl for design automation
- Strong problem-solving, team collaboration, and communication skills
- Experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams to ensure high-quality project execution
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Additional expertise in advanced technology nodes and experience with low-power designs is preferred
