Entos Pharmaceuticals is a clinical stage biotechnology company developing next generation genetic medicines using its Fusogenix proteolipid vehicle (PLV) nucleic acid delivery system. Position Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for full cycle finance and accounting for the corporate group of Companies. This includes (but is not limited to) procurement processes, invoicing, bank reconciliations, receivables, and payables, and assisting with the design and implementation of a strong internal control framework. The successful candidate will be part of the Finance team at Entos Pharmaceuticals and will report directly to the CEO.

The successful candidate will be working primarily remotely, depending on your location in Canada. This will be an hourly position, and compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s skill set and experience level. What will you be doing?

• Champion the procurement process.
• Process bill payments and journal entries in the system, ensuring accurate coding to the correct entities and departments.
• Assist with customer billing process, revenue recognition, and accounts receivable management.
• Prepare and analyze the Consolidated Financial Statement monthly/quarterly/annually.
• Support the team in the annual audit process.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, including, but not limited to, accrued liabilities, prepaids, and fixed assets.

Desired Education, Skills, and Experience

• Accounting degree/diploma is required.
• Professional accounting designation would be an asset.
• Experience with QuickBooks online is highly preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience with a fast-paced environment.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience is an asset but not required.
• Must be deadline and detail-oriented.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables concurrently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
