Schedule: Weekends Only — Saturdays & Sundays
Shift Hours: 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
Pay Rate: $17.50/hour

Paladin Security is seeking a friendly, confident, and professional Security Guard to join our team at the Canada Packers location in Lethbridge, AB. This weekend-only role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic environment while providing safety, support, and excellent customer service.

This position requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients and patrons
• Conduct proactive patrols to ensure safety and address policy breaches
• Respond to and investigate security alarms and emergencies promptly and professionally
• De-escalate crisis situations and liaise with emergency services (police, fire, paramedics)
• Exercise crowd control and remove trespassers when necessary
• Write clear and detailed reports including incident, emergency, liability, and daily activity reports
• Provide first aid and medical response when required

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and/or maintain a valid Alberta Security License
• Authorized to legally work in Canada
