We're seeking a motivated part-time, on-site In-Vivo Research Technician to join our team in South San Francisco, CA. This role is ideal for someone eager to stretch themselves, learn new skills, and contribute meaningfully to the development of breakthrough therapeutics. You’ll have the opportunity to be hands-on with cutting-edge research while working with a talented, collaborative team.

About the Role:

You will support lab operations, experiments, and animal care, collaborating with researchers, technicians, and engineers to maintain high standards in our research environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform app-based experimental workflows, including weighing and dosing mice via i.p. injection and/or oral gavage
• Conduct animal husbandry tasks (health checks, cage changes, food/water management)
• Collaborate with team members to support protocols and explore lab automation opportunities

Required Qualifications :

• Experience in rodent handling and husbandry
• Attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter with a strong desire to learn and grow
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in i.p. injections, subcutaneous injections and oral gavage
• Experience with necropsy and blood collection techniques

Schedule:

• Work 2-5 days a week in person, 4 hours per day
