Position Overview
ViQi is seeking a highly organized and proactive
to support our CEO and accelerate pipeline generation. This role is built for someone who enjoys being the engine behind lead generation and qualification, turning target lists into conversations by executing thoughtful outreach and follow ups.
This hybrid role is primarily focused on outbound prospecting and sales outreach via LinkedIn and email (70 to 80%), with the remaining time dedicated to lightweight executive support, scheduling, and coordination (20 to 30%).
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent judgment who can write crisp, credible messages, operate with discretion, and stay relentlessly organized. A scientific or life science background is strongly preferred since you will be communicating with technical stakeholders in the life science sector.
This is a remote-friendly role (within CA or OR) with a strong preference for candidates in the Santa Barbara area for occasional in-person collaboration. Qualifications & Requirements
Scientific Background:
A Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field (e.g., Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, etc.) OR equivalent professional understanding of the life science industry is required.
Outbound execution mindset:
You enjoy outreach, follow ups, and consistent pipeline activity.
Communication:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You must be able to recognize complex or nuanced scientific concepts to relay information clearly and professionally.
Organization:
Impeccable organizational and time-management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Tech-Savvy:
High proficiency with or able to quickly learn modern productivity tools such as Google Workspace (G-Suite), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Slack, and calendar/scheduling applications.
Independence:
A proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
