Job Brief:
OCL Ophthalmic technicians play a pivotal role in the patient journey and help to coordinate the management plan required for the patient. Technicians must ensure they are fully trained on all diagnostic equipment to facilitate the patient journey and to integrate high-quality person-centred care. The technicians will scan patients, ensuring ophthalmic measurements are available for visual acuity to be assessed and to enable calculations for lenses to be completed by their optometrist colleagues.
