Responsibilities

• Regional operations: Serve as the operational lead for our Trondheim office and European activities. Manage facilities, equipment, and infrastructure for robotics testing and development. Oversee local vendor relationships and procurement.
• Deployment execution: Own the full lifecycle of European deployment projects - scoping, planning, resource allocation, installation, and customer acceptance. Manage schedules and budgets across multiple concurrent projects.
• Stakeholder management: Drive clear communication and alignment between internal teams (sales, product, engineering) and external partners (system integrators, OEMs, end customers) to deliver projects on time and to specification.
• Process development: Establish and refine deployment processes, documentation, and operational playbooks to build a scalable European operation.
• Risk management: Proactively identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and manage scope changes throughout the deployment lifecycle.
• Operational excellence: Execute projects on time and within budget, set deployment metrics and continuously improve our processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in operations, project management, or deployment roles within industrial automation, robotics, or manufacturing environments.
• Direct, hands-on experience with industrial installations, robotics deployments, or automation projects-you understand what it takes to get hardware running on a customer's floor.
• Proven ability to manage complex technical projects, coordinating between internal teams and external customers.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Full professional fluency in English, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills for an international team.

What Will Differentiate You

• Hands-on experience with automation for machine tending.
• Experience managing complex hardware/software integration projects.
• A proven track record of managing both large-scale OEM projects and smaller, bespoke integration projects.
• Experience in a startup environment and comfort working across time zones with international teams.
• Familiarity with operational functions beyond project management (facilities, procurement, vendor management, hiring support).
• Professional project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum).
• Professional fluency in Norwegian or another Scandinavian language.
