Are you ready to become a part of our dynamic Nuclear Medicine team? Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To - Responsible for receiving, safe use of, and proper disposal of all radiopharmaceuticals and source materials. State and Federal regulations require documentation of all said activities. - Properly reconstitutes, completes an activity assay and administers radiopharmaceuticals as stated in Dose Schedules and per Authorized User order. - Demonstrates knowledge of safety in the work place to prevent accidents/injuries. Practices radiation safety measures for patients, staff and self. - Wears radiation dosimeters at all times in controlled areas and submitting samples for bioassay as needed. - Schedules patient exams including instructions to patients and staff regarding test preparations. - Conducts daily surveys and weekly environmental wipe tests. - Rotating on-call assignments and filling in periodically as backup for sick days and vacation. - Properly operates and takes care of all equipment in Nuclear Medicine including reports of any malfunctioning equipment to Director. Scheduled Hours: 24 hrs/wk, Work Shift: Days - Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 7am - 330pm. On-call one weekend a month - Sat and Sun 7am - 12pm. Education Required: Must be a graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology Program.
